Urban living in Vallcarca

Small scale housing project in Vallcarca, Barcelona. The definition of the volume was developed in order to close the block. The old patios in the city centre Palaces form Barcelona was the inspiration to create an interior coutyard, that would also bring dignity to the neighborhood.

 

The entrance to the building is thought as a promenade through the patio. The dignity doesn't finish in the groundfloor also there is an accurate definition of the staircase with double heights and open spaces.

 

This complexity of the staircase brought us to develope diferent typologies of living, fact that would also bring diversity of people.
